Echoes Along the Delaware
2025 Sullivan County Arts and Heritage Grantees Ava Pressman and Jason Sherwin present a program of arias and art songs that explore the eras of the Revolutionary War and Delaware and Hudson Canal construction. Presented alongside presentations from John Conway, Sullivan County Historian.
American Martyr: A New Cantata
World premiere vocal performance of an original work for soloists, chorus, piano, and organ by composer C. Leonard Raybon. Inspired by Murder in a Mill Town by Swarthmore Professor Bruce Dorsey, American Martyr tells the tale of Sarah Maria Cornell – tossed about by her friends, family, and God – searching desperately for love and faith in a life cut short. In this new work, she is made whole, beatified. Presented by Swarthmore’s Music and History Departments.
FetterFest Chamber Music Concert

Vigil For Love: Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia
Ava is performing as a section leader with The Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, which opens its season with Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and the U.S. premiere of Dominick DiOrio’s Vigil for Love, celebrating love in all its complexity.
